Lets Talk ABout Tinctures! | |

Tinctures are hands down the top selling dosing method when it comes to CBD. There are probably many reasons for this which include ease of dosing, cost effective in the long run, ability to add to your drinks and food recipes, high bioavailability, and discreet enough to bring with you during the day.
If you have never used CBD products before or maybe recommending that a family member or friend tries CBD for the first time, I would always suggest a tincture as a starting point for them because of the reasons i outlined in the first paragraph.
What Is Bioavailability Bioavailability refers to how much of the CBD your body actually absorbs when you take CBD. When you dose CBD sublingually held under your tongue your body absorbs the CBD but not all of it (not nearly). Tinctures is one of the best methods behind vaping and in front of taking edibles. For this reason your money goes further then taking gummies or edibles. |

Flavorless VS Flavored If you have taken a look at our tincture selection you might have noticed we have a variety of options when it comes to flavored vs unflavored tinctures.
There are a variety of flavors now to choose from such as grapefruit, lychee lemon, blueberry, watermelon, peach pear, etc. The only difference with these tinctures is a food safe flavoring used to mask the natural flavor of the MCT oil which is a carrier liquid in the tincture.
Many people prefer to have a flavoring added instead of tasting the earthy unflavored tinctures. This is also a great way to add it into your smoothies or other drinks. |

Full Spectrum VS CBD Isolate This topic alone could have it's own blog article (and it does here). It's a common quesiton we get asked all the time via email and our livechat requests. There is a certain stigma that goes along with a hemp/marijuana derived product that if it contains any amount of THC then it must give a intoxicating effect. This is simply not the case and i will try to go into a brief explanation about this.
CBD Isolate - We have a few CBD isolate products from CBD MOVE
simply due to the odd request we get for a CBD isolate product. CBD isolate products simply mean the only cannabinoid in the product is CBD. There are no other cannabinoids, terpenes, other plant matter. It's argued that CBD on it's own is far less effective then a full spectrum product. There are some people that get drug tested and prefer to be on the side of caution though and find a CBD isoalte product does help them well.
Full Spectrum - This basically means that the product was derived from ALL of the plant matter. All of the products we have that are full spectrum (the majority) are full spectrum. This means that not only do you get CBD but you also get more then 100 other cannabinoids that each have their own benefits. When all these cannabinoids and terpenes work together this creates something called the "entourage effect". In our opinion these full spectrum products are far superior to CBD isolate products. When looking for a full spectrum ensure it says full spectrum or broad spectrum. NONE of our full spectrum products contain anywhere near the amount of THC you would need to give an intoxicating effect. This is the reason we choose hemp derived CBD products. |

Lab testing is important! One of the tell tale signs that you are getting a quality product is to ensure that it has done it's lab testing and available for you to view. All of the products that we offer you can download the lab tests reports for. This ensures you are getting a CBD product that has been fully tested for the accuracy of the CBD, pesticides, heavy metals and so on. There are products on the internet that claim to be CBD but they are simply hemp seed oil which actually does not contain any CBD at all. These products are usually priced very low and when it comes to CBD products price does come into play when looking at a high quality product. |

How do dose CBD for the first time? When it comes to using a CBD product for the first time a common question we get is "how much CBD should i take". This is a very valid question but not always the easiest to answer for a variety of reasons.
The best way to start your dosing regime is to take it low and slow and gradually work up. I usually suggest to people to start with a 1000MG bottle. This ensure you have enough product for a month or two while you learn how much CBD you actually need to find relief.
Usually you can start with 1/5 of the dropper once a day. You do this for a few days and if you have not found relief you can up it to 2/5 of a dropper and stay on that dosing for another 3 or 4 days. You slowly work your way up in dosing. Trial and error comes into play at the start until you figure out exactly how much you need to dose to find relief. You are free to try dosing in the morning or in the evening or even dosing in both the morning and night. You are not at risk of dosing too much but if you start out too high to begin with you maybe simply wasting the product by using more then your body actually needs.
Because every person is unique and different biologically i recommend that someone doses every single day until the bottle is gone before coming to the conclusion either the brand does not work for them or CBD itself offers not benefit. Too often people give up before their body finds benefits with the CBD. To dose CBD properly and get the most benefit out of a tincture ensure you place the CBD oil under your tongue and leave it there for 60-90 seconds and then swallow.
