REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS RALLY UPDATE The Satanic Temple’s Reproductive Rights Rally will take place at the capital of a state where abortion rights are highly threatened. The state will be chosen using a donation campaign, and the winning state will be announced on October 31st. Currently, Indiana, the home state of anti-choice Vice President Mike Pence, is still leading, but is followed very closely by Utah. Georgia is still in third place. U.S. NAVAL ACADEMY IS REFUSING TO ALLOW TST MEMBERS THE RIGHT TO HOST RELIGIOUS SERVICES The Satanic Temple (TST) has notified the US Naval Academy that it must adhere to the U.S. Constitution and allow students who are TST members to perform religious services. TST hopes the Naval Academy will rectify the current situation, but is announcing that it will initiate legal action if members are not given equal treatment afforded to all other religious denominations.
This announcement comes in response to a public statement given to Task & Purpose by US Naval Academy spokesperson Alana Garas. Garas stated that members of TST, who are actively seeking to organize services at the academy, would be allowed to maintain a “study group,” but not to hold services because TST is “a non-theistic religious and politically active movement.” TST spokesperson, Lucien Greaves, said, “Neither of these facts about TST disqualifies our members from holding services.” TST has great pride in the U.S. military, and we have even constructed a monument honoring veterans. We have reached out to the USNA and hope this matter is quickly resolved.

BAPHOMET STATUE ON DISPLAY The eight-foot-tall bronze statue of Baphomet can be viewed in Salem, Massachusetts at The Satanic Temple headquarters during business hours. The headquarters also houses the Salem Art Gallery, which has on display the Belle Plaine, MN Veterans’ Memorial Monument. This is the first and only Satanic monument that has ever been approved for display on public property. Additionally, The Satanic Temple headquarters houses a library of Satanic literature, rare artwork, and a throne room.
