We had a chat with our pinup pal Peachy Keen, aka Kim Beatty, about bringing a love of pinup culture into the holiday season. Here's what she had to say:

GGR asks: What is your favorite aspect of the pinup life? How do you incorporate that into your holidays?

Peachy Keen said: "I really love how most folks I've encountered in the pinup and vintage community have a sense of respect and honor for the past. Each of us takes something different away from the decades before us, and it makes it unique and special to the individual. I try to find ways to bring those aspects into the holidays - whether it's fun photo sessions with a mid-century theme, or memories that live in photos from previous generations.

I've been able to start a lovely little collection of vintage Christmas ornaments and decorations, and I like to think each of those items has a story to tell about the families who owned them previously.  Even though we may not be able to physically spend time with loved ones and friends this year, we can still honor those traditions that have been handed down to us, as well as make new ones. I think that is true of the pinup/vintage community as a whole - honoring the things that have been passed on to us, while still being able to adapt them to modern times."
