We are still in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic and we must continue to be pro-active. It has been physically exhausting and financially challenging for all of us for several months and winter season is upon us, so we must not let our guard down. In addition to social distancing measures, staying healthy by lowering inflammation and strengthening the immune system are the critical key factors in minimizing risk and long term side effects if you do get sick.

LOWER INFLAMMATION A) Sanjevani Bosmeric-SR. The strongest, most clinically effective, patented natural product for inflammation support. Recommended Use: The average dose is 5,000 IU per day with a meal that has some healthy fat (avocados, nuts, seeds, olive oils) because Vitamin D3 is fat soluble. It is absorbed up to 60% better with fat. The recommended target goal for your immune system is between 50-100 ng/ml on blood tests (if you don’t know your number ask your doctor for a blood test to check). For those with more serious health conditions such as cancer, chronic inflammatory or autoimmune diseases the goal is around 70 to 100 ng/ml. B) Sanjevani Glucan 300 contains the highest amount of beta 1,3D Glucan on the market for immune support. In vivo and vitro studies showed it was the best for increasing Natural Killer cells (NK cells are important immune cells for fighting infections) and lowering inflammation, over and above more than 60 other dietary supplements derived from mushrooms, bran, oats and barley. Mushroom supplements contain about 20% of beta glucan. Sanjevani Glucan 300 provides a minimum of 83%. We also carry a children's gummy version called Beta Kids. Recommended Use: 1 drop daily in 4 ounces of water taken prior to traveling, high risk exposure areas or at the earliest signs (within the first few hours is best) of being sick (fever, cough, body ache, diarrhea, etc). One drop daily in a beverage for 3 to 10 days as needed. For those who have been sick for a few days or with other pre-existing conditions, 3-6 drops daily.
In addition to the above recommendations, the most important aspects of protection and prevention is washing your hands, social distancing, and wearing a mask in public. Get tested if you think you have COVID-19. Get plenty of sleep, be physically active with exercise, yoga and walking, manage your stress with mediation, drink plenty of fluids, maintain a routine, and eat a healthy anti-inflammatory whole foods plant based diet.
