| WINE OF THE WEEK 24/10/2020 "This stylishly balanced blend of three grapes from three valleys - Alvarinho, Loureiro and Avesso - exemplifies the quiet quality to be found in Vinho Verde. Produced by Anselmo Mendes, who has been influential as both winemaker and consultant, it is full of ripe, fleshy stone fruit character with a saline freshness bringing welcome structure to the soft, round mouthfeel. This would do justice to a whole roast turbot or other meaty fish." | |
