There will be lots of challenges for all of us moving forward with re-opening and learning how to live with social distancing and other recommended precautions. As we look to how we can lower our risk for COVID-19, we must also look at how we can lower our risks for all diseases. Maintaining good health is vital to minimizing risk and improving longevity.
Lowering inflammation and strengthening the immune system is a key factor in minimizing risk. This has been my mantra for years now and the reason I wrote the critically acclaimed book An Inflammation Nation.
In addition to all the wonderful safe, natural and clinically effective products that we offer, I will highlight below some that are the basic essentials that I recommend for everyone. LOWER INFLAMMATION A) Sanjevani Bosmeric-SR. The strongest most clinically effective patented natural product for inflammation support. Four synergistic natural ingredients in a bilayered sustained release tablet that is fast acting within 20 minutes and provides long lasting relief for over 8 hours. More effective and safer than all NSAIDs (ie. ibuprofen, naproxen, acetaminophen). Ingredients are active in over 100 mechanisms involved with inflammation.
Recommended Use: 1-2 tablets twice daily with food. Those with chronic or severe conditions may take 2 tablets three times daily with food.
STRENGTHEN YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM
A) Sanjevani Vitamin D3. At the minimum, I recommend taking this for general immune support. Recommended Use: The average dose is 5,000 IU per day with a meal that has some healthy fat (avocados, nuts, seeds, olive oils) because Vitamin D3 is fat soluable. It is absorbed up to 60% better with fat. The recommended target goal for your immune system is between 50-100 ng/ml on blood tests (if you don’t know your number ask your doctor for a blood test to check). For those with more serious health conditions such as cancer, chronic inflammatory or autoimmune diseases the goal is around 70 to 100 ng/ml. B) Sanjevani Glucan 300 contains the highest amount of beta 1,3D Glucan on the market for immune support. In vivo and vitro studies showed it was the best for increasing Natural Killer cells (NK cells are important immune cells for fighting infections) and lowering inflammation, over and above more than 60 other dietary supplements derived from mushrooms, bran, oats and barley. Mushroom supplements contain about 20% of beta glucan. Sanjevani Glucan 300 provides a minimum of 83%. We also carry a children's gummy version called Beta Kids.
Recommended Use: 2 capsules daily on empty stomach (for 45 minutes). For those with more serious health issues, or are currently sick, take one capsule for every 50 lbs. of body weight. Beta Kids - Children chew one gummy daily. Adults - chew 2 gummies daily.

C) Coated Silver by Noble Products is the most potent nano coated colloidal silver available. Most products are 11 ppm to 23 ppm in size, are ionic and bio-accumulate in the body. Coated Silver is 20,000 ppm! Studies show that this patented form of true colloidal silver which is coated with a polysaccharide at a certain nano size particle (10 nm) does NOT bio-accumulate in the body and is excreted. It does NOT hurt the healthy probiotics in your gut and in vitro studies show it is very EFFECTIVE in protecting us from viruses and bacteria (studies available on product page). Recommended Use: 1 drop daily in 4 ounces of water taken prior to traveling, high risk exposure areas or at the earliest signs (within the first few hours is best) of being sick (fever, cough, body ache, diarrhea, etc). In addition to the above recommendations, the most important aspects of protection and prevention is washing your hands and avoiding close contact with people who are sick. Get tested if you think you have COVID-19. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth. Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces at home and work. Get plenty of sleep, be physically active with exercise, yoga and walking, manage your stress with mediation, drink plenty of fluids and eat a healthy anti-inflammatory whole foods plant based diet.
