Difficult to say something that wouldn't sound sad or scared or angry in this period; many emotions are literally taking control of our daily life, and we forget that out there there's a beautiful season doing its usual job and changing the landscape around us with warm and reassuring colours.
That's why we've decided to go ahead with our annual Open Day, simply changing the way and embracing technology... or at least, try to...
Our Nursery is looking great in these early Autumn days, vigorous, healthy and with hundreds of thousands of rose plants in flower, and we really want to share all this with you, especially now.
So, let's forget the old fashioned way for this year, and try to be virtual.
We'll be Online and connected with you all Sunday 29 March, on our Facebook page.
This is what we are planning for you
Sunday at 11 am: a drone video of our nursery. Our son Luca has done the job and we love discovering our nursery from a different point of view.
12 pm: video on how to use our website and how to browse over 800 varieties of roses online without getting lost.
2 pm: video with Brian in the field, walking through his roses and explaining all the steps of commercial production, how to grow strong plants and what you should do in your garden (it'll be hard to stop him, believe me...)
3 pm: video on the 2020 releases growing in the field. It'll be good to see them before placing your order for next winter.
4 pm: video with Brian answering all the questions that in the meantime we'll have received from you... So, don't be shy: this will be the perfect opportunity to have an answer from a rose expert.
5.30 pm: virtual workshops with Cindy Cross making a beautiful bouquet and floral arrangements with roses and foliage that you can find in your garden. This will be really good because Cindy is not only a great landscaper and gardening expert, but she's also very artistic and creative and I'm sure we'll learn a lot from her.
