Ask a Pinup: Aleigha Lynn |
We caught up with one of our favorite new-to-the-scene pinup queens for a quick Q & A! Here's what Aleigha had to say:
GGR asks: "As one of our youngest pinups, what do you think this fashion community has to offer new pinups?"
Aleigha says: "I think it offers a sense of class, confidence and individuality! There are so many ways to style the fashion, as well as learning about amazing history! You are never too young or old to start pinup!"
Thanks for the tip, doll! If you would like to be featured in a future "Ask a Pinup," please email us your favorite pics! 💋

The More You Know: Parachute Wedding Dresses |
Did you know that some WW2-era brides were married in dresses made from parachutes? 😮 Access to silk was very limited during World War II, which put the traditional white silk dress out of reach for many brides-to-be. Some opted to borrow gowns or wear their best smart dress, but another option was open to the resourceful: recycling used parachutes into beautiful new wedding gowns!
Parachutes that could not be reused were made available to civilians. Some servicemen who were saved by a parachute would even give that same parachute to their sweethearts to use for their wedding gown!
