I am happy to share with you today a premium selection of Lebanese indigenous wine, 100% from Lebanese grapes that are born and raised in Lebanon. #Merwah Merwah used to be planted all over Mount Lebanon, on old small terraces built by our ancestors, between olive and fig trees, which allowed the vines to climb on the trees and produce delicious grapes protected from the heat and the hungry predators! This polyculture tradition, was spread all over the mountains of Lebanon!
#Sabbaghieh Sabbaghieh (from the word "sabgha" meaning dye or stain) is a native Lebanese grape. It belongs, in fact, to the varieties of grapes that are characterized by their special flesh and juice that are both red in color, unlike other types of red grapes. This is due to the presence of anthocyanin pigments within the pulp of the grape itself and gives wines a higher level of tannins.
#Obeidi Obeidi wine presents notes of citrus fruits (lime) and white peach, reflecting the character of the indigenous grape and the Lebanese Terroir.
